AboutAnalytics is seeking a smart, ambitious fulltime webdeveloper to join our 10-person team in our Enschede office (Roombeek).

The ideal candidate will help us enhance and evolve the AboutAnalytics.com platform, a spin-off of Twente University. Our Drupal CMS is currently in pre-launch alpha phase. This person will build and maintain functionality and tools with a AJAX/CSS front-end and a Drupal/PHP/MySQL back-end.

You have

2+ years of expierence web developing using JS/AJAX
At least one year of experience working with open-source content management systems: Drupal (preferred), Joomla!, WordPress, etc.
Expertise in hand-coded, cross-browser HTML and CSS
Demonstrated experience developing web applications in PHP
Understanding of how the various technologies of the web work together
Exposure to UI performance issues and improvement techniques
Strong communication, problem solving, and other “soft” skills
Desire to make an immediate impact in a fast paced, fluid, startup environment

Recommended

Bachelor’s Degree in CS or equivalent experience

Nice to have's

An interest in online analytics tools
Comfort with source control management systems, particularly Subversion (SVN)
Relational database skills – such as creating moderately complex queries
Experience working with 3rd Party APIs
