Senior Frontend Drupal and Web App Developer

What will you do?

You will be working closely with a team of Frontend & Backend Developers and graphic designers to properly theme Drupal websites and build frontend-heavy web applications. Whenever possible you try to work in a component based way to maximise the reuse of your code and minimize the number of duplicated functionality in your template files.

Job profile

• Native or fluent in English or Dutch
• You have extensive knowledge of (x)HTML(5)/CSS(3) & Javascript
• You actively follow & implement the latest developments in Mobile and Responsive design
• Previous proven experience with Drupal site building and creating Drupal themes
• You know your way around Photoshop to slice designs
• You easily understand the end-user and client requirements
• You are familiar with Agile development and are used to working with a version control tool such as Git
• You are flexible, independent and a team player
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A healthy dose of humour

Extra bonus

• Knowledge of PHP5 and MySQL
• You can't wait to jump ship with Drupal 8 and know how to deal with TWIG
• You know how to handle modern frontend workflow tools like Compass, Sass...
• Experimented with stuff like NodeJS, AngularJS, Backbone, jQuery...
• You are passionate about Drupal/Open Source, but you also have a passion outside the digital world
• Experience in contributing to Drupal modules, community involvement
• You can master the Terminal and Drush is your friend
